This November, you can pick up two different Vogues with royalty-themed shoots. Vogue Australia features a spread on Cara Delvingne, or Queen Cara, by Benny Horne. The idea of her sudden enthronement in the last few years as fashion royalty is taken in a literal direction but a wonderful one. Dolce kind of made us all go crazy for dressing like princesses again and I have to admit at my child-like giddiness. I love, love, love these shoots! The editorial in Vogue Japan is, understandably more haute, more experimental and so eerily beautiful with Nadja Bender being photographed by Camilla Akrans looking like a bored and listless princess. Each shot is like a work of art. And those interiors? DANG. Perv at the shots below.

Harper's Bazaar - I'm liking your taste in...well, everything.
Grimes + Angel Haze + Lagerfeld + Roitfeld = a singularly perfect combination of fashion and It-Girl elements in order to produce a spread entitled "Singular Beauty - An Homage to the Diversity of Women" for the September 2013 issue of Harper's.
The two musicians were among a host of amazing women from various industries that came together to make the piece. And, no offence, to the others but they were the figures of most interest to me. Aside from the fact that I'm a major fan of the music of both, I also love the styling going down for both - especially Angel Haze. That is some awesome androgyny right there. Sharp.
However, I do think the baseball cap with the Saint Laurent look on Grimes is rather inspired. Who would have guessed that it would work so well?

JW Versus the World.
God, I'm funny. But seriously, the wunderkind has done it again. This is the future. I mean, making minimalism maximalist? Making it new? That takes skill. And I'll always have major love for men and women playing in each others' wardrobes. Somehow, JW managed to be both JW and Versus, albeit a new Versus. There were serious echoes of his own collection - the straps and colours - but imbued with the attitude and sex-appeal of Versus. And lace totally needs to be a thing for men. Solid first outing, I'd have to say!
Here are some of my favourite pieces!
