Great Gatsby, Great Costumes.

Ah, good old Baz, making everything stylised and amazing. The costumes are shaping up to be undeniably beautiful even if I'm unsure of how I feel about the soundtrack. I like the modern take but we'll have to see how the whole thing comes together! Here are some of the designs from Prada for the costumes and really, they're perfection.

Ode to my week.

Pretty light, Pacman-shaped cookies, study, beers with friends, roses are yellow, the furniture is blue - that's kinda been my week. I promise to do properly fashion-related posts soon. Hope the photos are okay for now - Back to the books! x

The Third Wide-Eyed and Blind Playlist.

Okay, so this is mostly comprised of stuff I'm digging at the moment which also happens to make me feel that warm-season-is-coming feeling. As a result, it's largely up-beat and fun but there's an undertone of sappiness because I'm sappy and also in a really good boy-place at the moment, it's strange how you can fall in love with a person again and again. I know, vomit...anyway, enjoy!

A dream within a dream

I found some old photos I took years ago when I was applying for art college and before I decided to make a slightly more practical career choice. I really liked some of them but decided they needed their dreaminess enhanced - which I did. It's kinda like looking at the visualisation of my brain during those years; sometimes hazy, sometimes intense and bright but always dreamy and romantic.

A Week in Photos

He seems to get a lot of bad press - and not just from the press neither. And, while I understand that everyone must have their critics I cannot help but feel defensive of someone who takes the word "collab" to the next level.

I mean, whatta list of names! Beck, Courtney Love, Sky Ferreira, Kim Gordon, Christopher Owens...Wait a sec...that sounds familiar. Oh, yeah, it sounds like my c.d. collection.

But seriously, getting iconic musicians to style themselves in a combination of current and archive campaigns? Genius.
